After completing her BS and MS Mathematics degrees from the University of Michigan, Faye spent almost nine years acquiring consulting experience on US retirement plans under the former firms of Watson Wyatt and Towers Perrin, respectively, as well as with KPMG. She has been with FFMiravite, Inc. for the last sixteen years and, as its CEO since 2001, she is committed to bringing the company forward with the vision of continuous growth and multidisciplinary synergies between industry and academe.

Faye is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (USA) and holds a Dottore in Filosofia (Laurea) degree from the University of Florence (Italy).

Mr. Mercado is a Senior Actuary who performs consulting and peer review activities, in particular, for government engagements of FFMiravite, Inc. He spent over twenty years as an Actuary for the Insular Life Assurance Company and is a recognized expert on the construction of mortality tables, authoring the 1970 Philippine Inter-Company Mortality Table.

Mr. Mercado is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines and a Full Member of the International Actuarial Association.

Jericho heads the Actuarial Services for FFMiravite Inc. He brings with him a solid background in financial risk management and life insurance operations, in particular product development and pricing, acquired from previous work experience with AXA Life, Pioneer Life and New York Life Insurance Company.

Jericho holds a BS degree in Applied Mathematics, Major in Actuarial Science, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of the Philippines in Los Banos. He is an Associate of the Actuarial Society of the Philippines and a Fellow, Life Management Institute.

A BS Math graduate from Ateneo de Manila University, Ian has been in the actuarial profession for more than ten years. His exposures include experience studies, actuarial valuation and product development. He has been with different companies such as Philamlife and Pru Life U.K. He became the President of the LOMA Society of the Philippines in 2007. Also, because of his passion to learn more and to impart his knowledge, he taught Actuarial subjects at the University of Santo Tomas. His experience to both the corporate world and the academe, now being the Associate Actuary of FFMiravite, Inc. brings in the synergy of balancing theory and application.

Ian is a Fellow of Life Management Institute and is currently taking up his Master of Business Administration from Ateneo de Manila University. Moreover, he is a thesis adviser to senior undergraduate students of University of Santo Tomas.

Prof. Vespri is a Full Professor of Mathematics (Chair in Mathematical Analyses) at the University of Florence (Italy). In addition to his academic activities, he performs consulting work relative to mathematical models applied to the financial and industrial business sectors, most recently applying the theory of Levy processes to simulate the behaviour of financial markets. He is a consultant for the Italian Department of Trade and Industry (MISE), evaluates research projects for the Italian government’s equivalent of the US National Science Foundation, as well as for the European Union. He has authored over 70 papers on (1) the applications of Functional Analysis to the Evolution Equations and (2) the existence and regularity of solutions of Nonlinear Equations in Mathematical Physics.
